A formação da comunidade quilombola remanescente ‘Os Rufinos” no município de Pombal-PB (2011-2018).

Abstract

The present work aimed to understand the formation of the quilombola remnant community "Os Rufinos" from its institutional recognition in the year 2013 within the national policy focused on remnant communities. The justification of the work has as a north understanding the importance and social relevance that the community represents for the City of Pombal-PB. For this reason, we undertake a sociocultural analysis to seek to understand the formative characteristics of this community, its artisan culture, its religious representation, its aspects of ancestry that confirm the historical importance that the community has for historiography in general. Finally, there is relevance in being able to understand all this sociocultural context within a trajectory of implementation of public policies directed to quilombola communities remanescedte.
