dc.description.resumoO trabalho investigou a necessidade de empoderamento do setor apícola no município de São Bentinho PB. Partindo se da hipótese de qu e o Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar (Lei nº 11.947/2009) prevê a possibilidade de compras diretas de gêneros alimentícios pelas escolas da rede pública, por meio dos recursos financeiros repassados pelo Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educaçã o (FNDE), foi elaborado um modelo de decreto municipal que permite a integração entre os produtores locais de mel e a municipalidade para concretizar a abertura de um canal de consumo sólido e durável desse produto. Para tanto, foram analisadas detalhadame nte a legislação pertinente, bem como as características da Associação dos Apicultores do Município de São Bentinho/PB. Constatou se que o decreto é o instrumento legal adequado e pode ser utilizado pelo Poder Público Municipal para tal finalidade, uma vez que a legislação já disponibilizou diretrizes especificas que fortaleceram o mecanismo da compra direta dos produtos da agricultura familiar local para a merenda escolar. O trabalho apresentou, como produto final, um modelo de decreto a ser encaminhado ao Chefe do Poder Executivo do Município de São Bentinho/PB.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractThe study investigated the need for empowerment of the beekeeping sector in São Bentinho PB. Assuming that the National School Feeding Program (Law No. 11,947/ 2009) provides for the possibility of direct purchases of food by public schools through the financial resources provided by the National Fund f or the Development of Education (FNDE), we sought to elaborate a model of municipal decree that would make possible the integration between local honey producers and the municipality in order to achieve the opening of a solid and durable consumption channe l of this product. For that, the relevant legislation was analyzed in detail, as well as the characteristics of the Beekeepers Association of São Bentinho / PB. It was found that the decree is the appropriate legal instrument and can be used by the Municip al Government for this purpose, since the legislation has already provided specific guidelines that strengthened the mechanism of direct purchase of local family farming products for school meals. The work presented, as final product, a model of decree to be sent to the Chief Executive of the São Bentinho City.pt_BR
