Bom Jesus, Paraíba ou Ceará?: uma cidade paraibana no estado do Ceará.

Abstract

The dynamics of the Brazilian Geographic space is based on territorial divisions. Thus, this paper is to investigate which of the State Federation City of Bom Jesus belongs, Paraíba or Ceará? Well, there is a territorial division within the City of Bom Jesus (PB). That have only recently been questioned by the State of Ceará. Thus, this research will analyze what happened to that questioning could be done by the State of Ceará. However, we will investigate this issue between the years 1991-1994. Years were important for the town of Bom Jesus - PB because that's when discussion about the division of the City took unimaginable directions. Well, this time there was a dismembered part of the territory that belonged to Paraíba Bom Jesus - PB and now belongs to the City of Ipaumirim - CE. Thus, that part which now belongs to the state of Ceara became called Aroeiras site. Therefore, the study will be conducted by means of literature,such as regional authors own City of Bom Jesus, and with the support of the employees interviewed.
