| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | A urbanização e o crescimento socioeconômico de países em desenvolvimento aumentam o poder aquisitivo da população e o número de veículos particulares em circulação, contribuindo para o crescimento do número de acidentes no trânsito. Esses acidentes são como qualquer evento não intencional, causado por uma força externa alheia que atua de forma inesperada envolvendo um ou mais veículos que ocasione danos a pessoas, animais ou a própria via. Em todo o mundo são milhares de vítimas fatais e centenas sofrem com sequelas graves e tornam-se incapacitados. Grande parte dessas vítimas são jovens e por esse motivo, os acidentes de trânsito tornam-se um importante problema de saúde pública, na medida em que se analisam os impactos sociais e econômicos envolvidos por eles. Cerca de metade desses acidentes que terminam em mortes englobam motociclistas devido a uma maior vulnerabilidade desses indivíduos no trânsito. Como consequência disso, as lesões e sequelas nessas pessoas são, em geral, mais graves. Atesta-se a importância para a criação de novas políticas públicas tidas como educativas e mais eficientes em relação à prevenção de acidentes no trânsito. Desse modo, esta pesquisa está sendo desenvolvida baseada na grande ocorrência de acidentes de trânsito envolvendo motocicletas, permitindo conhecer, profundamente, os dados epidemiológicos da região em que situa-se o Seridó paraibano, colaborando de maneira significativa para a criação de propostas capazes de mudar essa situação. Assim o objetivo geral da pesquisa consiste em caracterizar as vítimas de acidentes de motociclismo socorridas antes e após a implantação do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência, no município de Cuité – PB. O referencial teórico foi subdividido em duas etapas: o cenário dos acidentes de trânsito: um enfoque ao automotociclismo; e a educação e a saúde atuando por um trânsito sustentável. A abordagem metodológica adotada para essa pesquisa é de caráter exploratório e descritivo, de cunho quantitativo a ser desenvolvida com vítimas de acidentes de motocicleta desde o ano de 2008 no município de Cuité – PB, os dados foram processados pelo software Excel. Os resultados obtidos reúnem-se em duas etapas: a primeira, com a identificação do sujeito descrita através de tabelas e a segunda, com a caracterização do acidente exposta por gráficos. Foi possível descrever o perfil dos acidentes ocorridos no município de Cuité e caracterizar os hábitos de vida no trânsito dos condutores de motocicleta dessa localidade. Dessa forma, essa pesquisa promove o conhecimento da realidade local, possibilitando a criação de políticas públicas eficazes e caráter preventivo, a fim de promover melhorias nas condições das vias de trânsito e na redução da morbimortalidade causada por acidentes de motociclismo. |
| Abstract: | Urbanization and socioeconomic growth in developing countries increase the purchasing power of the population and the number of private vehicles in circulation, contributing to the growth in the number of traffic accidents. These accidents are like any unintended event caused by an external force others acting unexpectedly involving one or more vehicles that causes damage to persons, animals or own path. Around the world there are thousands of victims hundreds suffer fatal and serious sequelae and become disabled. Most of these victims are young and therefore, traffic accidents become one important public health problem, since it analyzes the impacts social and economic engaged by them. About half of these accidents ending in deaths involve motorcyclists due to increased vulnerability these individuals in transit. As a result, injuries and sequelae such people are generally more severe. Attests to the importance for the creation of new taken as educational policies and more efficient in relation to prevention traffic accidents. Thus, this research is being developed based on high incidence of traffic accidents involving motorcycles, allowing know, deeply, epidemiological data of the region in which lies the Seridó Paraiba, contributing significantly to the creation of proposals capable of change this situation. Thus the aim of the research was to characterize Motorcycle accident victims rescued before and after the implementation of SAMU, in the municipality of Cuité - PB. The theoretical framework was divided into two phases: scene of traffic accidents: an approach to automotociclismo, and education and Health acting for a sustainable transit. The methodological approach adopted for this research is exploratory and descriptive, to be a quantitative developed with victims of motorcycle accidents since the year 2008 in municipality Cuité - PB, the data were processed by software Excel. Results obtained gather in two stages, the first with the identification of the subject described through tables and the second, with the characterization of the accident exposed by graphs. It was possible to describe the profile of accidents in the municipality and Cuité characterize the lifestyle habits of drivers in traffic this motorcycle locality. Thus, this research promotes local knowledge, enabling the creation of public policies and effective preventive in order to further improvements in road conditions and traffic reduction morbidity and mortality caused by motorcycle accidents. |

Thus, the general objective of the research is to characterize the victims of motorcycle accidents rescued before and after the implementation of the Mobile Emergency Care Service, in the city of Cuité - PB. The theoretical framework was divided into two stages: the scenario of traffic accidents: a focus on motorcycling; and education and health acting for sustainable transit. The methodological approach adopted for this research is exploratory and descriptive, with a quantitative nature to be developed with victims of motorcycle accidents since 2008 in the city of Cuité - PB, the data were processed by Excel software. Los resultados obtenidos se dividen en dos etapas: la primera, con la identificación del sujeto descrito a través de tablas, y la segunda, con la caracterización del accidente expuesto mediante gráficos. Fue posible describir el perfil de accidentes ocurridos en el municipio de Cuité y caracterizar los hábitos de vida del tránsito de los conductores de motocicletas en ese lugar. De esta manera, esta investigación promueve el conocimiento de la realidad local, posibilitando la creación de políticas públicas efectivas y de carácter preventivo, con el fin de promover mejoras en las condiciones de las vías de circulación y en la reducción de la morbilidad y mortalidad por accidentes de motocicleta. |
