Empreendedorismo sustentável: diagnóstico da agricultura familiar orgânica no município de Cajazeiras/PB.

Abstract

The Foley’s reflection (2018) about the feeding of the population with a truly sustainable way will be one of the biggest challenges that the civilization will have to face and it was source of inspiration for this research, as well as the perception that the entrepreneurship is generator of innovation, development and sustainability. The work aims to charts a diagnostic about the agroecological familiar agriculture in Cajazeiras city/PB, identifying sustainability and entrepreneurship factors in the Fair of Agroecological Hinterland. At first, it was distinguished the conventional agriculture from the familiar agriculture through the contributions by authors such as Nogueira, Francisco and Caporal. Then, others writers such as Cavalcante, Coutinho and Vilela point the agroecology as sustainable option for the environmental and food issue. The three principles of sustainability are defended by Alvarez & Mota, Candido Lira, and Ehlers. The entrepreneurship is presented by Dolabela (2008), Chiavenato, (2007), among others. The chosen methodology was an exploratory and qualitative research, in addition to a case study. The data analysis was emerged from the perception of the author about the entrepreneurship with basis on the theory and information gathering developed in the fair, cooperatives and productions. The diagnosis presents a growing demand by the agroecological products; it was verified producers with entrepreneurial actions that need to be stimulated like partnerships with institutions that provide knowledge and technological resources, delivery of products at home, identifying the needs of market. The difficulties encountered like the lack of resources for the production, in particular the water shortage that can be mitigated through the well drilling, but it generates unviable investments to the producers, generating others needs like the solar energy. Currently that difficulties faced by five producers and merchants need to be resolved through the public and private initiatives so that farmers believe in theirs productive potential, facing their productions as true entrepreneurships and the achieved results inspire others producers and new generations.
