Abstract

Since the 1980s, several researches have been carried out in Brazil using the CPT / CPTU test. However, most of this research was carried out on soft clay deposits. This research work aims to present and discuss the results of a CPT testing campaign, carried out in a deposit of sandy soil on the coastal strip of the city of Maceió (AL).
