Justiça do trabalho e classe operária: a relação entre o capital e o trabalho na Paraíba entre 1941-1945.

Abstract

This Dissertation aims to discuss the relationship between the Paraiban working class and the Labor Justice, through the João Pessoa Conciliation and Judgment Board, between 1941-1945, as well as the class struggle that exists in the context of this relationship and of the unfolding of the intervention of Ruy Carneiro and the Estado Novo Varguista. The investigation of these relations will be made through the problematization of labor processes arising from the archives of the Regional Labor Court (TRT-13), Paraíba newspapers and official state documents that circulated during this period and documented important sources concerning the class struggle between employees and employers. Theoretically we will be guided by the contributions of the classical Marxist tradition, more specifically from the social history of work, to the problematization of the complex dialogue between labor legislation and the working class within the judiciary, using for this debate authors such as Antonio Gramsci, Evguiéne. Pachukanis, Bernad Edelman and EP Thompson.
