A construção artístico-cultural expressa nas histórias em quadrinhos Rê Bordosa: que projeto político?.

Abstract

This academic work has the objective to study the artistic-cultural construction expressed in the Re* Bordosa cartoons, as well as to reflect about the political project of the cartoonist Angeli included in this work. Re Bordosa was created ou April 4, 1984, in the cartoon strip Chiclete com Banana from Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper by the respective cartoonist as one of his characters who lived in the urban universe of Sao Paulo in the 1980s. This character us a satire on the feminine sexual postrevolution gender that had a very sparkling social-cultural environment as a backdrop. The angelian universe in which R<§ Bordosa deals with reflects about the contemporary period where the debate between modernity and post-modernity is up. This character quotidian is determined by the fragmentation of the cultural identities that reflected the dislocation of the modern individuals and the valorization of the present moment and the hedonism. This way our research aims a reflexion about the measure and the direction that this character, while cultural-artistic construction represented as a social critic before the context of the 1980s in Brazil. Therefore, we intend to disaiss the critic features of this artistic project, as well as to locate Re Bordosa from his dialogues, hehavior and way of living in a contextualized way. We will try to analize the character as a traveble about the social contexts and its cultural tensions.
