Uma nova experiência do Estágio de Supervisão Escolar.

Abstract

There are countless problems faced by the school, whether political, economic or social. Our public schools operate in difficult conditions, mainly those maintained by the municipality. Legally, teaching conditions are guaranteed, but in practice this does not happen. The Escola de 1º GrauVirgílio de Aguiar Gurgel, located in Bairro Além Rio, is not left out of these problems.È a school maintained by the municipal government, which was created with the objective of serving low socioeconomic level clients, as well as surrounding sites. There are many problems faced by both the faculty and the student body of that school. One of the main problems is the lack of research material, since the school does not have a library. This was reflected in the student who does not develop the research skill, and in the teacher who limits his classes to simple routine transfers. The lack of updated knowledge is something that we could also see explicitly in the teacher. All of this works as obstacles, hindering the teaching-learning process. In view of this, we intend to work with teachers, in content study sessions and updating knowledge, according to the needs presented, aiming to improve learning at that Educational Institution.
