Arte - educação: a importância do desenho para educação infantil.

Abstract

Drawing is a language medium that has its own codes, that is, the act of drawing offers the child the possibility of representing the object the way he feels and understands, and adult offers the possibility to understand the child's private world. The internship constituted an important moment for understanding the theme, through this, we had the opportunity to reflect on the child's expression through his drawings. The goal of this research was to analyze the meaning and conception that are behind the practice of drawing in early childhood education by identifying the extent to which it favors or limits development in the child's teaching-learning process. The research was carried out at Municipal School of Infantile Education and fundamental "Papa Paulo V I" located in the city of Sousa-Pb, with 5 (five) students from a pre-school room as subjects of the research. The research was developed through a case study, using data collections semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, observation in the classroom, as well as the oral and documentary sources constituted through the internship supervised in teaching. The analysis of the material showed the importance and need for monitoring the process of drawing by the educator, so that he can interpret and understand the design produced by education. The study also showed that the design been worked either as a distraction or on commemorative dates, with no due appreciation of these expression samples. Therefore, with the research it is concluded that for through the drawing the educator is able to notice the child's level of learning, taking based on the phases that the drawing goes through, pointed out by Luquet (1969), as well as see that in addition to being valid in the assimilation of the contents with respect to the teaching-learning, through drawing one can identify affective and emotional aspects present in these samples, being necessary for the educator to provide practices that privilege this exercise because design is part of the development process of child.
