Abstract

This monograph presents the importance of working on play in the teaching and learning process learning, always keeping in mind that games, toys and games are part of of the child's world. Knowing the importance of playing in early childhood education, work starts with a brief definition of what is playful. It also addresses the practice developed by the educators and the difficulties presented by them in working with this facilitator of learning by integrating content. In this sense, and highlighted the presentation of students on the use of playfulness in the development of learning, identifying the importance of ludic activities as support in the learning for the development of affective, creative, cognitive and social potentials of child. The research also addresses the experiences of the Supervised Internship in Teaching, which emphasizes, among other aspects, the use of playfulness in the teaching process and learning. It is a research with a qualitative approach, in which it was used as instruments for data collection, observation, interviews, documentary sources, constituted for a Portfolio, with the lesson plans and activities developed during the internship, and a field journal. It is concluded that it is essential not to forget that if the child plays spontaneously, the role of educators cannot be improvised. However, it is clear that schools need to value and work more with play, so that they have students motivated to learn in a pleasant way.
