Abstract

In this monograph it was looked for to do a study at the present time on the slave work, tends Brazil and the State of Paraiba specifically as focus of the study, Analyzing the doctrine and the effective legislation, through the method juridical exegetic. To the we come across ourselves the expression slave work, she brings soon to our minds memories of the inhuman conditions to which the workers were submitted enslaved for us to supply their gentlemen's economical longings in that time. Now, after 119 years of having signed the Golden Law, that he/she abolished the slavery in our country, the existence of thousands of submitted workers the this degrading form of work is verified. The current slavery is characterized by a series of new factors, as the lack of information on the workers' rights, false promises done by bad people, absence of jobs and conditions of own maintenance and of the family in the origin area. Like this, it was done necessary, for a larger effectiveness of that study, to try to consider the slave work at the present time, starting soon afterwards to draw the evolution of the use of this labor type in the world and also in Brazil; and, giving continuity a research was accomplished regarding the providences taken for the eradication of the slave work in the judicial extent and also in the half extrajudicial, and finally, in the last chapter of this monograph it was made an deepening in order to analyze about the existence or not of slave work in the State of Paraiba. The persistence of the slave work in Brazil is the focus of the present work, that it looked for through the approach dialectics to analyze the phenomena political, social and economical as the main directors for the workers i f they submit to the contemporary servitude system. At the end, through this study, it is ended that the contemporary slavery doesn't maintain any connection with the racial factor, but, he/she is intimately linked to the economical factor and the feeling of existent impunity in our country. It is like this easy to notice that just the edition of new laws is not enough i f there is not a significant improvement in the conditions of life of the layers more drops of the population and also a larger application of feathers than they come to reach the very larger of those criminals than they explore the slave work in our country, which is: the property. Dipping like this in the society a feeling that the light to struggle with more vehemence to extirpate at once for that whole wound of the middle in which we lived.
