Análise sócio- jurídica da Defensoria Pública.

Abstract

Access to justice is presented as a Basic Right of all citizens. The hipossuficient class of society has guaranteed such right through the Public Defender Office, an essential institution to the achievement of justice, predicted under Article 134 of the Federal Constitution. However, this institution faces many difficulties, and the full and equal access of all citizens to justice is not fully achieved in today's society. This study points out the main flaws and difficulties of the Public Defender Office, demonstrating that this problem needs a solution as soon as possible. Bibliographic techniques and legal exegesis and the deductive method of approach were used, examining the theories and the law to adapt to a particular case. The present work will identify the main flaws of the performance of the Public Defender Office in Brazil, demonstrate the great importance of an institution that does such services to the community and address access to justice as a source of citizenship and promotion of human dignity. It will also bring to the center of discussion the urgent need to solve this situation so that all can experience living in a fairer society.
