O livro-texto como recurso didático: potencialidades e limitações.

Abstract

The theme - The textbook as a didactic resource: potentials and limitations - was chosen as an objective to better understand the educational practice of this activity in the socio-political and economic context of Brazilian / Paraiba society, at the Escola Estadual de 1º Grau Pedro Américo, in city ​​of Cajazeiras. Our interest in the theme came from studies and discussions held in the classroom. This aroused in us the desire to seek more substantial information about the practice and the difficulties that teachers encounter in the development of their work, as we know that this occurs in an educational system that presents several difficulties. The insertion in the internship field was apprehensive since we initially perceived a certain indifference and apathy on the part of the school's members. Meanwhile, with the continuation of studies, indifference was dissipated and creating an environment of interest and participation. As they became more familiar with the issue, debates arose, reports of experiences that motivated us to progress.
