Avanços baseados na teoria do capital humano: uma análise da obtenção de título de Mestre pelos docentes do CCJS/UFCG no período de 2006 à 2017.

Abstract

The research was developed with the objective of identifying the personal and professional advances of the teachers in the CCJS related to obtaining the title of Master. To do so, we used the methodological method of exploratory character, with a qualitative approach, in which we sought to identify the personal and professional advances of the teachers in the CCJS related to obtaining the Master's degree. The research was also performed through a case study, in a descriptive way, in which a semi-structured questionnaire was applied, consisting of 22 assertions. Thus, the treatment of the data was made on the main characteristics, ideas, and perceptions about the benefits acquired by the teachers after the Master's degree. In the analysis was identified the various factors that motivated these teachers at the entrance of the master's degree, being confirmed that the interests went beyond the achievements and professional development, seeking also to guarantee personal satisfaction as well as professional prestige. However, it was verified that the majority sought to improve their knowledge and, consequently, to obtain a professional differentiation, guaranteeing a better level of income and job opportunity. Regarding the individual achievements, one identified among them the increase in remuneration, in which the majority of them began to receive above 3 minimum wages. In addition to conquer new administrative posts, as well as being recognized within the institution as a qualified and competent professional. It was found in general that the master's degree contributed to the personal and professional maturation of the same, providing professional improvements in the area in which they work, with quality of life.
