Abstract

From bibliografic reflection a study trying to explain and emphasize the need for recognition and effective introduction of new paradigms in socio-environmental legal sciences with a view to constructing the model of sustainable development. To gather data relevant to the object of the search turned to the historical and comparative methods. The search documentary aimed to raise, collect and analyze existing documents and needed to study. The environmental protection covers the development of standards protective of the environment through a multidisciplinary approach, which is based both in existing legislation and the knowledge of other areas of science. From the Environmental Law is the Law of animals that protection techniques for handling and slaughter of ammais bred for human consumption, and curb the cruelty and neglect against pets. The first chapter conceptual and the reader finds in significant historical moments for Environmental Law, the thinkers, philosophers and scientists in general who have contributed to its construction which is the basis for sustainable development. The second chapter discusses the necessary awareness of citizens due to the emergence of the State Ecological while only way to maintain the well-being after the changes of this century. The third chapter brings the overview of all forms of cruelty against animals, in ways: scientific and social. Causes of the Animal Law more: specifically about the experiments conducted on animals unnecessary and alternatives that already exist for replacement of such techniques.
