Abstract

This final project aims to analyse the effectiveness of the Office of award-winning collaboration in the midst of the investigation carried out by the Scaffold operation, which has broken out in the State of Paraíba by task force composed of the composed of the Federal Prosecutors, Prosecutors in the State of Paraíba, Comptroller-General's Office and Federal Police. Such an operation broke up a criminal organization who played bilking bids and committing various acts of money laundering by creating and the use of numerous corporations. The method to be used in the research will consist in technical and deductive to be adopted will be the bibliographical research, as well as field research, as will be examined a specific case where the application of the award-winning collaboration at the award-winning collaboration institute on research carried out by scaffolding, and as specific objectives can be listed the following: examine the relationship between organized crime and the public administration and investigate the Scaffold Operation checking the pipes applied and the effectiveness of the award-winning collaboration for the success of the investigation. Finally, with the analysis of law nº 12,850/2013 and the doctrine on the matter, the award-winning collaboration, special investigation technique and means of obtaining evidence, is fundamental in investigations of crimes committed by criminal organizations. There is also the results obtained in the sting operation, observed in the reports produced in investigations and judicial proceedings, pointed out how the collaboration one of the organisers of the scheme was instrumental in the expansion of research and discovery of other agents who acted in collusion with the criminal group, including civil servants and mayors.
