Abstract

The importance of financial education is enormous contribution to society, as it provides knowledge about economics lessons and practices essential to having good financial decisions, there is also a good quality of life. This work seeks to know the financial practices in a university environment, making it essential to reflect the current university scenario regarding personal finances by the students who are in the process of completion stage in the Centre for Social Legal Sciences - Campus Sousa - University Federal University of Campina Grande. The research used was classified as descriptive in relation to the objectives; bibliographical and survey, as the procedures used. The instrument was set up as a questionnaire composed of 21 questions divided into 2 parts that aimed to know the profile of students who were already in the process of completion and their financial practices. The issues were easily resolved and allowed the respondent point of many alternatives. The results show that the majority students are aware and make the proper procedures of planning and control which reflect a satisfactory financial education.
