Funcionalidade dos aplicativos de gestão de finanças pessoais: um estudo com discentes de graduação em Administração.

Abstract

The management of personal finances allows planning and controlling the the income and expenses of the individual. This activity can best be performed with the help of mobile app. The present research aimed to verify the means used for the management of personal finances and to describe the functionalities of the mobile app which can provide a personal finance management used by the researched public. A printed questionnaire was applied to 111 students of the undergraduate course in Administration of the Federal University of Campina Grande - Campus de Sousa, in order to identify those who used the mobile app. Subsequently, a survey was conducted using online questionnaire with the eight students who use the mobile app and accepted to participate in the research. As far as the means used for the management of the personal finances, the majority uses the management by means of handwritten annotation, followed by the management "just using the head" (memory). The use of mobile app, in the view of the students, allows a greater control of personal finances, being possible to update the income and expenses automatically, with the generation of reports. They also allow synchronization with the bank account, such as the GuiaBolso app.
