Gestão do futebol: análise de gestão do Sousa Esporte Clube.

Abstract

This undergraduate thesis has as its central theme the investigation of Sousa Esporte Clube 's management process with the people who are part of the club' s management, enabling them to elucidate issues that allow football in Sousa - PB. Concepts were used that sought the professionalization of processes, the question of the financial and patrimonial structure and mainly the construction and maintenance of an indoor soccer club in the state. Through methodological techniques of content analysis, it was possible to create an image of soccer performed more in the amateur and passionate sense of the managers, collecting the data through interviews with a semi-structured script. Points were presented as administrative and financial concerns, such as sponsorship funding, the reality and difficulties presented in the interior of Paraíba, as well as the influence and admiration of the club president and, lastly, the passion and the relationship that the fans have with the city team, all this resulted in the perception that there is a sense of responsibility and dedication that allows Sousa the security to participate in the championships and stay in operation. The work proposed the conception of an image and the way a soccer team is managed with few resources and its implications.
