dc.description.resumo	Este estudo objetiva averiguar os aspectos gerais do Poder Legislativo no âmbito municipal após a Constituição de 1988, destacando as competências atribuídas pelo constituinte. O método adotado é o exploratório e se pauta na revisão bibliográfica. Contextualiza o Poder Legislativo a partir da análise do processo legislativo e das comissões de legalidade. Averigua o papel do Município no Estado brasileiro. Destaca a separação de poderes que rege a autonomia e independência entre o Executivo, Legislativo e Judiciário. Ressalta a autonomia do Município consagrada na Constituição da República de 1988. Aborda o Poder Legislativo municipal, seus atributos e autonomia. Apresenta a divisão de competências e a função de legislar no âmbito municipal. Conclui-se que a Constituição da República de 1988 prestigiou sobremaneira o Município, reconhecendo a sua autonomia ao consagrar competências exclusivas e concorrentes, possibilitando capacidade de auto-organização, que clama da atividade legislativa para se concretizar, atendendo o interesse local.	pt_BR

dc.description.abstract	This study aims to determine the general aspects of legislative power at the municipal level the light of the constitution 1988 , highlighting the powers conferred by the constituent. The method adopted is exploratory and is guided in the literature review. Contextualizes the Legislature from the analysis of the legislative process and legal fees. Scrutinizes the role of the municipality in the Brazilian state. It highlights the separation of powers governing the autonomy and independence of the executive, legislative and judiciary. Emphasizes the autonomy of the Municipality enshrined in the Constitution of 1988. Republic Discusses Power City Council, its attributes and autonomy. It presents the division of powers and the role of regulation at the municipal. We conclude that the Constitution of 1988 greatly honored the city, recognizing their autonomy to devote exclusive and concurrent powers, enabling self-organizing capacity, which calls for legislative activity to materialize, given the local interest.	pt_BR
