| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | Esse trabalho monográfico consiste na análise efetiva dos relatórios publicados pela Comissão de Direitos Humanos do Estado da Paraíba, entre os anos de 2009 e 2013, que tratam de visitas realizadas nas penitenciárias do estado da Paraíba, sob uma ótica dos Direitos Humanos. O trabalho desenvolve o conceito de Direitos Humanos, sobre o seu contexto histórico, da sua origem até os dias atuais, os princípios inspiradores e as razões que levam as pessoas a se mobilizarem em defesa de um conjunto de direitos universais. No decorrer do texto, ocorre a interpretação das normas constitucionais e leis vigentes no Brasil e no Estado da Paraíba, bem como das normas internacionais – notadamente a Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos –, que versam sobre direitos humanos. Em seguida, com base nos relatórios acima citados, realiza-se investigação sobre os direitos fundamentais no âmbito interno das penitenciárias visitadas. Finalmente, são propostas sugestões e apresentadas as considerações finais acerca das penitenciárias aqui analisadas e a dignidade da pessoa humana. |
| Abstract: | This monograph constitutes effective analysis of reports published by the Human Rights Commission of the State of Paraíba, between the years 2009 and 2013, dealing with visits in prisons in the state of Paraíba, under a human rights perspective. The paper develops the concept of Human Rights on its historical context, from its origin to the present day, the inspiring principles and reasons that lead people to mobilize in defense of a set of universal rights. Throughout the text, the interpretation of constitutional norms and laws in Brazil and in the State of Paraíba occurs, as well as international standards - notably the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - which deal with human rights. Then, based on the reports cited above, carried out research on the fundamental rights provisions within the prisons visited. Finally, suggestions are proposed and presented the final considerations about the prison analyzed here and the dignity of the human person. |
