Exportações na Paraíba: um breve panorama.

Abstract

This work has as objective to analyze some aspects of the exportation in the State of Paraíba, in the period of 1991 to 2002. This analyze will be made though the historical search of the occurred exportations in the State, as also the potentially exported discovered of new markets and products. The importance of this subject was also to verify the main results of the Paraíba. As main argument is the question of the evidence of that the Paraíba possess relatives advantages in products as the Sisal, Fish (Tuna) and footwear. By this evidence we detected some impediments that make it difficult competitiveness of these related products, as also the introduction of new products in the exportation guideline. Another perceived impediment is the lack of "culture export" on the part of small and averase paraibana's companies being the exportation a residual question. There are also problems with bureaucracy, difficult of agreement (language) with the international partners and still the insipicnt form in the exporting formation of Clusters and infrastructure with problems letting the price of the products increased and diminishing the competitiveness. Thus we can contribute for the debate of the exportation in state scope.
