Abstract

This research aims to analyze the expressive progress of women in the labor market in the city of Serra Branca-PB. To this end, it briefly discusses the history of women's first participation in the labor market, taking into account the differences between women and men in the occupation of leadership and domestic activities. It aims, therefore, to understand the forms of machismo present in the female work as well as the working conditions and the difficulties faced in society. The methodology adopted was the descriptive-interpretive, which consists of the highlights of the questions addressed in the questionnaire, in order to make visible the factors that accompany the professional life of women and thus expand the information obtained during the research. After calculating them, the problematic aspects became apparent, namely: salary, family income, number of children, as if administered to domestic activities, how domestic activities and work are reconciled, if there is a distinction in remuneration. at work and if you have ever been harassed.
