Abstract

This work has a monographic theme "Elements of design of mobile communication systems with emphasis on cellular systems. Today, through the development of global standards, it has constantly sought to interoperability of mobile communication and the possibility of global communication that allows the transmission of voice, data and multimedia applications. The network is a mobile telecommunications network designed for the provisioning of mobile services, ie for communication between one or more mobile stations. The study was supported by the authors in this area, has methodological procedures, research and descriptive literature, and supported by the authors in this area. With the general goal: preparing a text presenting the "state of the art" of current mobile cellular systems by focusing on the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) as well as the most important elements of planning and implementation of such systems. Having had the conclusion that mobile communication is a new language, motivated by the development of technology, has the consequence of the information society, which has at its disposal information and data, new forms of communication and a new configuration in space-time relationship.
