| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O aumento na geração de resíduos sólidos urbanos é considerado hoje como um dos principais problemas ambientais da sociedade moderna, resultante principalmente de atividades antrópicas e do crescimento de indústrias. O vidro é um tipo de material que pode ser utilizado de várias maneiras, podendo tornar-se um grave problema ambiental quando descartado de forma inadequada. Diante disso, um dos principais problemas enfrentados pelo setor vítreo é o descarte de seus resíduos excedentes, gerando poluição e acúmulo em lixões. Este trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de analisar a destinação e a disposição dos resíduos vítreos na cidade de Iguatu-CE, uma pesquisa de caráter exploratória e descritiva, onde a coleta dos dados foi realizada por meio da aplicação de questionários. Os resultados indicam que a maioria dos resíduos vítreos nas vidraçarias da cidade de Iguatu-CE tem como destino final o lixão, não existindo reciclagem do material nessa cidade, apenas reutilização. |
| Abstract: | The increase in the generation of solid urban waste is considered today as one of the main environmental problems of modern society, resulting mainly from anthropic activities and the growth of industries. Glass is a type of material that can be used in many ways and can become a serious environmental problem when improperly discarded. In view of this, one of the main problems faced by the glass sector is the disposal of its surplus waste, generating pollution and accumulation in dumps. This work was accomplished with the objective of analyzing the disposal and disposal of vitreous residues in the city of Iguatu-CE, research, exploratory and descriptive, where the data collection was performed through the application of questionnaires. The results indicate that most of the vitreous residues in the glassworks of the city of Iguatu-CE have as final destination the dump, and there is no recycling of the material in this city, only reuse. |
