Abstract: | This work consisted in using the technologies of wireless networks and microcontrollers, aiming to build a physical interface and integrate it into a virtual simulator currently under development at the Laboratory of Human Machine Interfaces (LIHM) DEE UFCG, for training for substations operators. The project begun with a bibliographic review to support choosing the wireless networking technology to be adopted as well as choosing the adequate hardware components. The following step consisted in developing the specified hardware with the aid of a simulating tool which was essential to test the solution before implementing it. Finally, from the discussion of the test results, it is proposed in this report a set of suggestions for future work. |
