A priori será feita uma explanação geral acerca dos princípios da energia eólica, mostrando a origem dos ventos e os fatores que influenciam o seu comportamento, assim como os tipos de turbinas e seus componentes. Por fim, será realizada uma comparação entre as características eólicas do Nordeste, Estados Unidos e Europa, afim de destacar o potencial eólico da região Nordeste. |
| Abstract: | The present study makes an analysis of the wind potential of the Brazilian Northeast, showing the unique characteristics of wind resources in the region. First of all, there will be a general explanation about the principles of wind energy, showing the origin of the winds and the factors that influence their behavior, as well as the types of turbines and their components. Lastly, a comparison will be made among the wind characteristics of the Northeast United States and Europe, in order to highlight the wind potential energy in the Northeast. |
