Educação ambiental como princípio fundamental para agentes multiplicadores numa escola de ensino fundamental em Pombal-PB.

Abstract

Environmental education is a fundamental tool used in schools to promote awareness and awareness of individuals. In this way, the present work, looked for methods to propitiate changes of attitudes towards the environment in the students, teachers and other involved. The activities were developed in a municipal school in Pombal-PB, together with students in the 4th and 5th year of elementary school. It was possible to develop different awareness and awareness activities in the school under study. Initially, the study of the environmental perception became of extreme relevance so that it was possible to understand the interrelationships between man and the environment, as well as for the construction of vertical gardens with reuse of PET bottles for the planting of vegetables looking for awareness of the school community for healthy eating and the importance of reuse of solid waste. Finally, it was used the appropriate methods of collecting and transforming cooking frying oil for recycling, transforming it into bars of handmade soap, improving people's quality of life, reducing negative environmental impact, environmental education and contributing to the preservation of the environment.
