Abstract

This report is about the curriculum stage developed by the undergraduate student of Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande, José Romão Pimentel Neto, held at Metrodata Engineering Company Limited. The traineeship report presents the activities of the student in the period in which he was trained at Metrodata, whose head office is located in the city of Recife - PE. However much of the traineeship was held in Belo Jardim by providing services for electrical installations and projects for Accumulators Moura SA in Units 01, 04, 05 and 08. Besides the traineeship also provided services for substations of Musashi in Igarassu, for TIM in Teresina, in Vale do Rio Doce in São Luís and Shopping RioMar in Recife. The student carried out electrical engineering activities focused on electrical installations, SPDA, grounding and electrical system design and on lighting, which encouraged the use of LED lighting, plus commissioning of substations. He was also responsible for a work team composed of 14 people initially, including supervisors, electricians, electrician's helper, internships, estimator and administrator/buyer. During the internship the student also attended the lecture of Schneider and the course on soft-starter switches in Recife. Finally, the work presented here contains general information about the company, its branches of activity and workplaces, and the description of the activities performed by the student.
