Abstract

This work presents the report of activities developed by the student Frederico Carvalho Fontes do Amaral during the Supervised Internship at the Metrology Laboratory (LABMET) of Campina Grande, located in the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). The internship was a learning opportunity for the student, where he was allowed to use the laboratory’s measurement equipment, as well as the equipment from de Radiometry Laboratory, also located in the UFCG. During the internship, the student learned to configure and handle the spectrum analyzer provided, as well as learned the theoretical concepts related to the his measurements. The student also had the opportunity to expand his knowledge about MATLAB®, which is a very important in the area of telecommunications, by creating a software that would simplify the use of the measurements performed during the experiments, and that could be used by the future users of the analyzer.
