Abstract

This report describes the main activities, related to the Integrated Internship curricular component, carried out by student Thiago Henriques Vieira de Souza, concluding the undergraduate course in Electrical Engineering, at the company Acumuladores Moura S/A, in the city of Belo Jardim, Pernambuco. The internship was carried out in the Energy Inputs sector, responsible for managing the consumption of electricity and natural gas in the Moura Group factory units, for the establishment of energy efficiency goals for each unit, for the management of electricity and natural gas supply contracts for the company, and for some projects that aim to improve Moura’s energy efficiency. The activities carried out by the intern were the monitoring of the energy efficiency indicators (of natural gas and electricity) of unit 08 (Industrial Batteries); Monitoring of invoice entries made by the tax sector; Participation in training offered by the company; Preparation of monthly monitoring reports for Moura units; Initial study to implement the ISO 50.001 standard in a factory unit. The internship experience contributed significantly to professional training, showing the need to complement academic training.
