| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | Nas Eleições de 2020, 39 mulheres tiveram suas candidaturas deferidas e concorreram a vagas na Casa Legislativa Municipal em Sousa/PB, que conta com 15 assentos. Contudo, apenas 2 (duas) mulheres obtiveram êxito em suas candidaturas, e conseguiram ser eleitas. Diante de tal disparidade, surge a necessidade de analisar a conjuntura que permeou essas candidaturas. Nessa perspectiva, a presente pesquisa versa sobre a análise das candidaturas femininas ao cargo de vereadora na cidade de Sousa/PB nas eleições de 2020. E tem como objetivo geral identificar as particularidades das candidaturas, e como objetivos específicos traçar o perfil dessas candidatas, conhecer suas respectivas trajetórias políticas, além de investigar o incentivo financeiro público e privado a elas destinado, relacionando com o quantitativo de votos obtidos e o êxito ou infortúnio por elas alcançados. Tais objetivos foram traçados com fins a encontrar uma resposta para a seguinte problemática: Porque há uma baixa representatividade feminina no legislativo sousense, mesmo havendo o preenchimento da porcentagem das cotas partidárias femininas no município? Para tanto, o percurso metodológico percorrido foi o de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, tendo como principal fonte de coleta de dados os números fornecidos pelo TSE. No que se refere aos objetivos, a presente pesquisa configura-se como exploratória. Quanto à abordagem do problema, caracteriza se quanti-qualitativa. No tocante aos métodos, utilizou-se o histórico como método de procedimento e o indutivo como método de abordagem. Uma vez percorrido esse caminho, percebeu-se que há uma deficiência histórica na participação feminina ao longo dos anos no município de Sousa/PB, que o capital político e financeiro foi fator determinante para o melhor desempenho das mulheres nas Eleições de 2020 e, ainda, que o Fundo Especial de Financiamento de Campanha foi a principal fonte de recursos destinados a essas candidaturas. |
| Abstract: | In the 2020 Elections, 39 women had their candidacies approved and ran for seats in the Municipal Legislative House in Sousa/PB, which has 15 seats. However, only two (2) women were successful in their candidacies, and managed to be elected. Given this disparity, there is a need to analyze the situation that permeated these candidacies. In this perspective, this research is about the analysis of the women's candidacies for the position of councilwoman in the city of Sousa/PB in the 2020 elections. And has as a general objective to identify the particularities of the candidacies, and as specific objectives to draw the profile of these candidates, know their respective political trajectories, and investigate the public and private financial incentive for them, relating the number of votes obtained and the success or misfortune achieved by them. Such objectives were set in order to find an answer to the following problem: Why is there a low female representativeness in the legislative branch of Sousa, even though the percentage of female party quotas in the municipality has been fulfilled? To this end, the methodological path followed was that of a bibliographical and documental research, having as the main source of data collection the numbers provided by the TSE. In what concerns the objectives, the present research is characterized as exploratory. As for the approach to the problem, it is characterized as quantiqualitative. Regarding the methods, the historical method was used as the procedure method, and the inductive method as the approach method. Once this path was traversed, it was realized that there is a historical deficiency in female participation over the years in the municipality of Sousa/PB, that political and financial capital was a determining factor for the better performance of women in the 2020 Elections and, furthermore, that the Special Fund for Campaign Financing was the main source of resources for these candidacies. |
