Papéis sociais e diferenciais de gênero no assentamento José Antônio Eufrozino, semiárido paraibano.

Abstract

The emergency and expansion of the rural establishments brought new spaces and sociability, doing and building some old establishments and new dynamic and social relationships. However, there are peculiarities about the places where the establishments are located once it is located in a semi-arid in northeastem and it has a strong articulation of MST that has fought and has conquered a daily social action, using ali the strength and the natural resources. Because gender is a category of relationship, this work has an impact on the men and also on the women relating to the different experiences, preferences, needs, opportunities and restrictions faced for both, according to the role they develop in society, and in their relationship with the environment. However, this analysis is very specific because it has been focus on impacts of the relation between the genders and also about the women in the Project of establishments in José Antônio Eufrouzino located in Campina Grande PB, showing how the work of the women and their position are related to the invisibility and subordination. This has been considered the sexual division of the work that shows who and when the work is done, the social roles, and the dynamic that this problem is related because it shows a lot of transformation. This dissertation intends to contribute with a reflection of the women's place especially in the moment that it has been talked about the participation of the women in ali rural social life, and on issues related to the differentiation of the men's social roles and women. Like this, we verified that in the establishment, in spite of men and women be still related to relationship and traditional tasks, we can visualize significant changes in relation to the woman's participation in the process organizativo of the establishment, as well as the valonzation of the work of these.
