| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O dano por fadiga é um dos principais problemas encontrados nos pavimentos asfálticos, sendo diretamente influenciado pelo carregamento dinâmico e pela constante mudança nas condições climáticas às quais a mistura asfáltica está submetida. Este problema é relacionado a fenômenos de pequena escala e são afetados pelo teor de ligante, pelas características dos agregados e pelas propriedades da interface de ligante-agregado. Esta pesquisa estudou os métodos de dosagem de matriz de agregados finos (MAF) propostos por Kim, Castelo Branco, Karki e Coutinho, definindo um método que melhor estime o teor de ligante que está presente na parte fina de uma mistura asfáltica convencional. Como conclusão, foi verificado que todos os métodos estimaram teores de ligante distintos e foi possível comprovar que alguns deles possuem deficiência na consideração das propriedades dos materiais utilizados. |
| Abstract: | Fatigue damage is one of the main problems found in asphalt pavements, being directly influenced by the dynamic loading and the constant change in the climatic conditions to which the asphalt mixture is subjected. This problem is related to smallscale phenomena and is affected by the binder content, the characteristics of the aggregates and the properties of the binderaggregate interface. This study investigated the fine aggregate matrix (FAM) design methods proposed by Kim, Castelo Branco, Karki and Coutinho, defining a method that best estimates the binder content that is present in the thin part of a conventional asphalt mixture. As a conclusion, it was verified that all the methods estimated different binder contents and it was possible to prove that some of them are deficient in the consideration of the properties of the materials used. |
