ANAVAN: um novo caminhar no pátio do Maior São João do Mundo.

Abstract

This work aims to contribute to a greater valuation of the spaces that receive the cultural manifestations related to the festivities of the Maior São João do Mundo occurred in the city of Campina Grande, PB. For this, a return to the past is made to understand the dynamics of the party and thus identify the points of occurrence that go beyond the spaces consecrated as the Parque do Povo. From this contextualization not only historical, but also social and urbanistic, it was possible to interpret the environment, identifying its authenticity and potential, resulting in analyzes developed based on interpretative planning, a methodology developed by Goodney and Murta (2002). Understanding the place, it is possible to create valuation measures of the patrimony. Along to this interpretation, space is analyzed according to its occupied territories and in how this occupation is configured in the magnitude of a mega-event in temporal and structural terms. From this, it is possible to establish a better reading that results in a series of recommendations that will be associated with the general objective of the proposal of this work, which is the creation of cultural circuits developed in the face of this need to safeguard the cultural heritage that is the brand of the city of Campina Grande.
