Fratura alveolar complexa em maxila.

Abstract

Fractures involving the alveolar process represent a low number of cases. No dental office for an alveolar process fracture (FPA) represents a surgical complication resulting from the excessive use of force during the movement of a forceps at the time of extraction. Objective: to request a case of APF in a block in the posterior region of the maxilla, accompanied by the treatment used and its effectiveness. Case report: A 23-year-old male patient compared a dental clinic at the Federal University of Campina Grande - UFCG, Patos / PB campus, to perform an extraction of the 27 element. During the procedure, an FPA occurred. The dental element was removed; the bone block was repositioned and a semi-rigid internal fixation was made with transosseous steel wire; the postoperative period also had two laser therapy preparations. Conclusion: There is a comprehensive bibliography on the process of alveolar results of extractions. Despite this, a therapy employed for the treatment of fractures listed in this article was effective.
