| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | No contexto de diversidade de usos do bairro do Centro da Cidade de Campina Grande, encontra-se um empreendimento vertical em ociosidade. Trata-se da estrutura do Francisco Pereira Trade Center, cuja obra foi abandonada desde o início dos anos 2000, não cumprindo sua função social. O presente trabalho visa propor estudo preliminar de intervenção arquitetônica no edifício, adaptando-o para uso misto. Para tanto, o estudo conta com as etapas de investigação de referencial projetual para a criação de repertório de soluções arquitetônicas referentes ao tema; caracterização do edifício, de seu entorno e dos condicionantes projetuais; e por fim explanação do projeto arquitetônico proposto. A proposta desenvolvida busca a compacidade das unidades habitacionais bem como um programa de necessidades sem excessos; e a vitalidade, ao valorizar os espaços coletivos discutindo como o projeto pode contribuir também para o urbano. |
| Abstract: | Among the context of the diversity of uses in the center of Campina Grande, there is an unused vertical building. It is the Francisco Pereira Trade Center, which construction has stopped since the early 2000s, failing to fulfill its social function. The present work aims to propose a preliminary study of an architectural intervention in the building, adapting it for mixed use. In order to do so, the study counts on the investigation of design references for the creation of a repertoire of architectural solutions related to the theme; Characterization of the building, its surroundings and the design constraints; and finally the explanation of the proposed architectural project. The developed proposal seeks the compactness of housing units as well as a program without excesses; and the vitality, by benefiting the collective spaces and discussing how the project can also contribute to the city. |
