Avaliação da temperatura, frequência respiratória e cardíaca em éguas (Equus caballus, LINNAEUS, 1758) utilizadas em vaquejada, sob repouso e pós atividade física.

Abstract

The work was carried through with the objective to evaluate the effect of exhausting exercises on the parameters, retal temperature (TR), respiratory frequency (FR) and cardiac frequency (FC) in equinos athletes, clinically normal and to establish the correlation enters the 0 variable under rest and after physical activity. The experiment was accomplished in the Haras Park Queiroz Sátiro, City of Patos - PB, establishment that explores mares of the race Quarto of vaquejada Mile used in, frequent submitted intense training e, therefore, the presupposition of estresse physical. Six adult mares in reproductive phase of anestro had been used, submitted the halfintensive system of creation, being the collection of the data carried through per the morning and to the afternoon, by means of gaugings of the parameters, before and immediately after to be submitted the physical work of competition, during three consecutive ends of week, in the continuation of March 2009. It was evidenced in the evaluation under conditions of rest, average values and shunting line standard of TR, FR e FC, respectively, of 37.45ºC, 21.08 mpm e 39.85 bpm, whereas, the verifications registered after - physical activities had been marcadamente superior (TR: 39.07 ºC, FR: 75.35 mpm e of FC: 82.40 bpm), with the more preponderant in period of the afternoon, over all referring average values to the respiratory frequency (86,10 mpm) and cardiopath (87,50 bpm). Indicating statistical significant coefficients of variation (P ≤ 1%), after physical effort in both the turns. However, parently without damage of the performance and health.
