| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O estudo da regeneração natural da caatinga permite a realização de previsões sobre o comportamento e desenvolvimento futuro da floresta, pois fornece a relação e a quantidade de cada espécie que constitui o seu estoque, bem como suas dimensões e distribuição na área. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi acompanhar o comportamento de indivíduos de cumaru (Amburana cearensis), aroeira (Myracrodruon urundeuva) e ipê roxo (Handroanthus impetiginosa) em uma área de caatinga preservada localizada na RPPN (Reserva Particular de Patrimônio Natural) da Fazenda Tamanduá, no município de Santa Terezinha (PB). Quinzenalmente, foram coletados dados de diâmetro na base, circunferência à altura do peito e altura, para classificar os indivíduos dessas espécies de acordo com esses parâmetros. A regeneração de três matrizes isoladas de cada espécie foi monitorada num raio de 30 m em torno delas. Foram inventariados 116 indivíduos pertencentes às três espécies, os quais estavam bem distribuídos nas cinco classes de diâmetro e altura utilizadas neste estudo. Estes dados mostram que regeneração das três espécies arbóreas é satisfatória, provavelmente devido à ausência da ação antrópica na área. |
| Abstract: | Study on Caatinga natural regeneration allows to preview forest behavior and future development, as it furnishes a list of species, and the quantity and distribution of each species that compose the forest community. The objective of the present study was to monitor Amburana cearensis, Myracrodruon urundeuva and Handroanthus impetiginosa individuals in a preserved forest remnant located at the Fazenda Tamanduá RPPN (Private Reserve of the Natural Patrimony), in Santa Terezinha (PB). Data on height, basal diameter and breast-high circumference were collected fortnightly in order to classify the plants of each species according to these parameters. Regeneration was monitored in a 30m radius around three isolated trees of each species. A total of 116 regenerating individuals observed around the isolated trees showed to be evenly distributed in the five height and diameter classes used in this study. This shows that the natural regeneration of the three tree species is satisfactory, probably due to no antropic pressure in the area. |
