A linguagem humorística das charges e as "diretas já" no traço dos chargistas dos jornais: Diário da Borborema e Jornal da Paraíba.

Abstract

This paper analise some of the comic representations on "Diretas Já", which was a political movement that has noticed all of the country in search of a new political representative that is elected through direct elections. At about 1983 the oppositions launch the campaign for direct elections for president. These changes were appropriate and represented in a comic by chroniclers as: Afonso Marreiro, Fred Ozanan e Kennyo Alex. The way these cartoonists represented the events and characters of Brazilian politics, helps us understand the government of the time and the movement of "Diretas Já". We propose to analyze the cartoons of these newspapers, Diário da Borborema and the Journal of Paraíba to identify the intent of these cartoonists through their respective trait. For analysis and interpretation of visual sources we have considered the methodological approach proposed by Carlos Ginzburg, the evidentiary method, which works with the interpretation, anchored on tracks, signs, signals, allowing us to make numerous readings of historical sources among them the charge. We still use the visual method of hermeneutics, which considers the image as the main object of study. In this sense taking humor as a political text, analyze the representations of the "Diretas Já" by these cartoonists.
