Memória e cotidiano escolar: o Colégio Estadual de Campina Grande (1968-1978).

Abstract

The Campina Grande State College, also known as Silver State College, was inaugurated in 1953 and became the first public school of secondary education in the city. The organics laws of teaching, formulated during the Estado Novo (1937-1945), the State College soon became a byword for quality in education, attracting students from both the city and also from surrounding regions, belonging to various social layers. During the military government in Brazil, especially after the promulgation of the Institutional Act nº 5 (1968-1978), all colleges in the country began to be watched and monitored with greater intensity in order to curb actions considered “subversive”. Based on theoretical dialogues offered by Certeau, and the use of oral sources through the methodology of evidential paradigm suggested by Ginzburg, seek to question the school everyday during the AI-5, and the interfaces and relationships established in the school routine during that period.
