A exploração ilegal da fauna da caatinga esta reduzindo, consideravelmente, o numero de especies, por meio de sua extinção local. Este trabalho teve como objetivo realizar um levantamento na cidade de Patos para fazer um diagnostico da população que possui/possuíram animais silvestres. Foram realizadas 153 entrevistas, distribuídas em 17 bairros da cidade de Patos - PB. O maior numero de animais silvestres encontrou-se na população de baixa renda. Todos criavam ilegalmente. Os animais mais frequentes citados foram a gangarra e o galo-de-campina. Mais da metade da população nunca criou animais silvestres. |
| Abstract: | Survey of wild fauna raised at home in the city of Patos - PB. The wild fauna is a patrimony of the humanity and it should be preserved by your importance in the balance of the environment. The illegal exploration of the fauna of the caatinga is reducing, considerably, the number of species, by means of their extinction. The objective of this work was to make a diagnosis of the wild animals reared by the population of the city of Patos, Paraiba State. 153 interviews were undertaken, encompassing 17 neighborhoods. The largest number of wild animals was in the population of low income. All created illegally. The most frequent animals were the gangarra and the galo-de-campina. More than half of the population it never reared wild animals. |
