Diferentes técnicas de desobturação do sistema de canais radiculares: uma revisão de literatura.

Abstract

The non-surgical endodontic retreatment of the root canal system is the first alternative when the primary treatment resulted in failure, it consists to treat an infection that the primary treatment was unable to solve or even a re-infection from a post-filling infiltration of the root canal system. Considering that the endodontic retreatment is a subject that deserves a lot of relevance and study, the present work aims at a review of the non-systematic literature review on the different techniques of unfastening, focusing on the instruments commonly used to remove obturator material, as their effectiveness and time spent to remove the material, since this is a primordial and extremely important stage for the successful retreatment. The bibliographic review was carried out through an online search in the databases: Scielo, PubMed, Google Academic, and scientific books. It can be concluded that, despite the instruments such as: ProTaper Universal Retraction, Mtwo Retreatment, Reciproc, WaveOne and the various existing techniques and auxiliary methods for removal of obturator material present in this literature, no system or technique proved effective to the point of removing by complete all material, being necessary that techniques and new instruments are developed, with the aim of making this sanification more efficient.
