Abstract

Fixed implant-supported prosthesis for functional and aesthetic restoration in the anterior region of the maxilla: case report. The advent of implantology brought possibilities that have revolutionized the field of oral rehabilitation in recent years. Fixed implant-supported prostheses provided great advantages over treatments with conventional prostheses, predictability and longevity. Being used initially in more complex treatments, over the years it was incorporated into less complex interventions, until the rehabilitation of unitary elements with implants, establishing itself as a treatment choice with greater security. The patient used a defective partial removable prosthesis, reporting dissatisfaction with the aesthetics and functionality of the prosthetic part. The objective of this work was be to describe the preparation of the implant prosthesis to restore the aesthetics, function and phonetics of the missing elements 12, 11, 21, 22, highlighting the materials used and the manufacturing technique, from implant installation through gum conditioning, and implant-supported prosthesis construction and installation. Three Neodent Facility implants were installed in the edentulous region, where it had bone with unfavorable vestibular inclination. A plan was made for the installation of implants with metallic infrastructure (Ni-Cr), where it was chosen by coating in acrylic resin. The bone resorption installed in the place requires the adaptation of artificial gingiva, seeking to restore black space, acting directly to improve the aesthetics, function and phonetics of the patient. From the results obtained it is emphasized that the prosthesis on implants, artificial gingiva associated, corresponding expected expectations.
