Abstract

INTRODUCTION: The implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous spaces in the anterior maxillary region aims to restore function and aesthetics, depending on factors such as periodontal and dental aspects harmony. The impact that these teeth agenesis causes, is a factor of concern, not only for the carriers of the anomaly as well as for health professionals who see in the planning of your treatment, a major challenge. A proper positioning of implants and their harmonious relationship with the hard and soft tissues are essential for a high demand aesthetics. Therefore, global knowledge of specialties is necessary for planning, aiming aesthetic-functional and biological satisfactory results. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study is to describe the clinical steps for replacing crowns of items 12 and 22 now for crowns with infrastructure in Zirconia, reducing the existing negative effect due to the metal prosthetic angled abutments. These might not be replaced by ceramic abutments due to the large buccal inclination of the implants and poor condition of the screws. REPORT OF A CASE: F.R.L.F. patient, 22, sought care in Clinical Dentistry School - UFCG due aesthetic complaint in the region of the elements 12 and 22, referring gum and tooth darkening in the region of two elements, and defective margins. CONCLUSION: The success of oral rehabilitation depends on the individual plan for each clinical situation. Knowledge regarding prosthetic components available and their limitations are essential to success. The rehabilitation of the anterior region meets the patient for aesthetic, social security and influence positively the quality of life.
