Abstract

The present study aimed to investigate the life story of Aurília Breckenfeld Dantas, notably about the memories of her educational practices, which comprises the period from 1946 to 1986, which discusses her teaching activities in the municipality of São João do Rio do Peixe in the interior of the Paraíba. As a problematizing research question, this study was developed from the following theme: What are the contributions of Aurília Breckenfeld Dantas to the education of São João do Rio do Peixe-PB? The study had theoretical support mainly in: Perrot (2007), Louro (1997; 2004), Almeida (1998), Lopes; Galvao (2001). This research is part of the field of the theoretical-methodological approach of the biographical method that it is possible to describe events not only in a linear way, but with an emphasis on more relevant situations of the biographical subject. forming multiple generations.
