| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | Informações básicas sobre a anátomo-fisiologia, além de outras questões ligadas aos aspectos reprodutivos são essenciais no estabelecimento das bases fundamentais para a manutenção da biodiversidade e preservação de espécies ameaçadas de extinção, ou até para a manutenção de uma espécie em cativeiro. Este trabalho teve como objetivo, avaliar as medidas testiculares (largura e tamanho) de duas espécies de macaco-prego Sapajus flavius e Sapajus libidinosus mantidos em cativeiro. Os valores médios e desvio padrão do comprimento dos testículos esquerdo e direito (CE e CD) e largura dos testículos esquerdo e direito (LE e LD) foram semelhantes nas duas espécies. Associações entre medidas testiculares e qualidade seminal necessitam ser investigadas nestas espécies de modo a se estabelecer o padrão fisiológico para animais potencialmente férteis que poderá ser usado futuramente em avaliações andrológicas. |
| Abstract: | Basics knowledge about anatomy and fisiology, and other questions of the reproductive parameters are essentials in the established of the fundamental basis for the maintenance of the biodiversity and preservation of endangered species or maintenance of the captive species. The aim this paper was analyser testicular parameters (lenght and right) of two species of the capuchin monkeys Sapajus flavius and Sapajus libidinosus in the captive. The media of the testicular lenght testicular left and right (LL and LR) and testicular width left and right (WL and WR) were similar in two species. Associations between testiculares parameters and seminal quality need studied in the species for the establishment of the fisiologic parameters for fertile animais for andrologic evaluations. |
