Tal papel foi analisado por Herbert Marcuse que, dentre outros pontos, tratou da natureza mesma desta tecnologia. Tecnologia é um dos conceitoschaves do pensamento do referido filósofo, pois ele explica como se dá a relação entre tecnologia e sociedade. Ademais, cabe ressaltar a importância que a técnica tem para a mecanização da vida, proporcionando um modo mais fácil de se viver, por um lado, mas por outro, absorvendo qualquer desejo de mudanças significativas no rumo desigual da distribuição das riquezas socialmente produzidas. Com isso, Marcuse nos oferece uma oportunidade de reflexão a respeito desta aculturação que incide diretamente na qualidade de vida das pessoas. |
| Abstract: | Technology has held an important role in XX century. This role was analyzed by Herbert Marcuse that, among other points, has treated the very nature of this technology. Technology is one of the key concepts of Marcuse’s thought, since he explains how the relationship between technology and society occurs. Furthermore, it is worth pointing out the importance that technology has for the mechanization of life, providing an easier way to live, on the one hand, but on the other, absorbing any desire for significant changes in the unequal course of the distribution of socially produced wealth. With this, Marcuse offers us an opportunity to reflect about this acculturation that directly affects people's quality of life. |
