A constituição discursiva do sujeito líder: uma análise discursiva de O Monge e o Executivo, de James Hunter.

Abstract

The discursive constitution of the leading subject: a discursive analysis of The Monk and the Executive, by James Hunter. The constant search for prestige, success and happiness, addition to the recognition for their dedication and success at work are needs of contemporary society. In this scenario, the Brazilian publishing market offers self-help literature with the promise of achieving the much vaunted happiness and success in personal and professional life. The demand of self-help literature is growing in Brazil over the years. In reason of fact we conducted this research to understand how the subject constitutes itself and which discourse present in self-help books specifically, in the book The Servant, James Hunter. To understand speech in between this literature and know the subject of this discourse it, we conducted discourse analysis of chapter one, The Definitions, of the book The Servant, of James Hunter. Concepts of Discourse Analysis, French Line, were applied for the understanding of discourses present in the corpus, that have the purpose of persuade your reader with examples of leadership, teaching him how to be a leader and effect their authority.
